VP of Business Development
Jason Krautter has a comprehensive 20+ year management career in agronomy, sales, and new business development. In his earlier career, Jason was a Golf Course Superintendent for properties in Utah, California, and Colorado. With his strong agronomic background, segueing into the indoor cultivation arena was an easy transition and an opportunity to wear many hats. He ran operations for 4 entities in Washington, 3 of which he ran simultaneously, before moving on to greater responsibilities.
Upon leaving Washington, he became the Director of Sales & Business Development for a large medical cannabis entity in Arizona, furthering his industry experience. Having run several indoor cultivation operations and touring countless more, he has seen first-hand that even the smallest misstep in early design-planning can have lingering consequences on long-term operational effectiveness.
Prior to Norseman, Jason was the Director of Facilities Operations for a modular design + build company where he consulted on over 40 projects from micro-cultivation to industrial scale processing & extraction facilities. Jason also set company revenue records for modular cultivation & extraction units and played an integral part in getting clients into the right product for their operation. His singled-minded focus is helping clients navigate design challenges and make the best possible infrastructure decisions while remaining on time and on budget.
Jason is very organized, schedule conscious, and maintains an honest and realistic approach to client relations. He strives to set realistic expectations and find the ‘win-win’ in any situation. His industry knowledge, sales experience, and ethics are the reasons you want him working on your project.
